Description |
A 3"x 5" photograph of the site chosen for the construction of Olympic Stadium in Hoquiam. The hillside on the left is sparsely covered with small 2nd growth trees. A creek meanders through the flats below (at right). A pencilled note on the back side reads "The stadium was built on this. 1938 W.P.A. project." The WPA was the depression-era Works Progress Administration. |
